Trimble Music Studio Policies

In conjunction with your child participating in any program with Trimble Music Studio, you will be asked to sign a contract that includes these terms:

_____ (1) Let’s Play Music is a 6 semester program, spanning over 3 years. Enrollment in Let’s Play Music purchases a spot for your child in the program. It is anticipated that your child will complete the entire program with Trimble Music Studio.

_____ (2) A parent/caregiver attends class twice per month for the first year, and once per month for the second and third years. Refer to the class calendar for the exact dates of parent weeks.

_____ (3) Only children enrolled in the program may attend classes. This includes parent days. Please arrange for a babysitter ahead of time. Newborn infants are allowed for the first 12 weeks of age as long as they are not a disruption to class.

_____ (4) Due to the nature of group classes, if a child’s behavior repeatedly disrupts classroom learning, they may be dismissed from the program. Please leave toys at home or in your bag. No food, gum or drink is allowed in class.

_____ (5) Let’s Play Music materials, including songs and activities are copyright protected and may not be shared with anyone not enrolled in that class. Student materials must be returned if a child cannot continue the program.

_____ (6) Class attendance is essential to maximize the benefits of the program. Please inform the teacher if your child will not be in class. Please do not bring your child to class if they have had a fever, diarrhea or vomiting within 24 hours of class.

_____ (7) Class begins and ends on time. You may arrive up to 5 minutes early. Arriving on time ensures your child will participate in every minute of learning time. A parent is expected to be on time to pick their child up. If you are not here when class is dismissed, you will need to park your car and come inside to pick up your child.

_____ (8) When you help your child with at home practice and theory assignments, you are reinforcing skills and concepts taught in class and maximizing your investment in your child’s development as a musician. In a group setting, children will thrive and learn the most when they come back to class having mastered the concepts and skills taught the previous week.

_____ (9) Please help all of the children in the studio and the neighborhood be safe by driving safely to and from class. Always check behind your vehicle before backing out. You may park in the driveway, or on the rocks to the north of the house. Do not park in the street or in front of any neighboring homes. Please do not play in the front yard while waiting for your child in class. Do not go into the side or back yards before, during or after class.
