On Saturday, April 27, 2019 we celebrated the accomplishments of 45 Let's Play Music and Bridge students. We shared with our family and friends all that we have worked hard learning over the past year. Congratulations to all of my wonderful students! I'll look forward to seeing you in the fall!
1st year students showed off their theory and rhythm skills and accompanied the group on both tone bells and autoharp.
2nd year students impressed us with their piano skills and continued vocal, ear training and theory development. They played the piano as an ensemble, accompanied and self-accompanied, and played their first solo!
3rd year students graduated from the Let's Play Music program and are well prepared to succeed in any future musical training. As their crowning achievement, they each played their own original composition. See the videos of their compositions below.
Bridge students have spent an additional year advancing their theory, ear training, piano technique and composition skills. They are now ready to soar in their private piano instruction! I can't wait to see the amazing things that each of these kids accomplish in their lives.
